Welcome to our 25th Year!
Dropping in at any one of our 10 Royal Oak pubs over the next twelve
months will be well worth while with some great customer promotions
going on.
JANUARY
In January we kicked off with our Robbie Burns promotion. Our customers
experienced great Scottish themed appetizers and entrees that included,
Scotch pies, Haggis and Mince and Tatters. Between January the 10th
and 25th by filling in a ballot when visiting a pub all visitor
were able to win items such as a Team Scotland Rugby jersey or a
genuine Scotch blanket. On Robbie Burns night live Celtic music
was enjoyed at each of the pubs and the haggis (a true Scottish
delicacy) was ceremonially piped into the pub and enjoyed ( in small
portions ) by all present.
FEBRUARY
February 2005 sees the return of our Hamburger Special. For $7.99
(plus tax) you can enjoy any one of our Royal Oak burgers, with
fries and a soft drink…a savings of up to $2.50.
Hope you all enjoyed Super Bowl XXIX at the Oak where we gave away
great Budweiser prizes and offered some football comfort food at
very appealing prices. Congratulations to the New England Patriots!
Royal Oak Orleans Anniversary - Come out to celebrate 7 years of
serving the Orleans community on Saturday February 25. Live music
featuring Drew Young and the Henchmen. We are located at 1981 St.
Joseph Blvd, at Jeanne D'Arc.
MARCH
In March, think Irish. During the first three weeks of March all
the pubs will be featuring Ireland's favorite drinks, both beer
and spirits, and we will pay a special tribute to the Boxty, an
Irish crepe stuffed with either a beef or chicken savory filling.
During your visit to the pub, fill in a ballot for a chance to win
some great looking Royal Oak 25th Anniversary and Guinness branded
merchandise. Prizes include jackets, fleece tops, soccer jerseys
and sweatshirts.
St Patrick's Day - Don't forget to wear the green on March 17 and
drop by your local Oak to enjoy a pint while listening to live Irish
entertainment all day and evening.

APRIL
April is the "Big Month" for the Royal Oak, it is our 25th Birthday
month. On the 23rd April 1980 the doors opened at our 318 Bank St
location and the party has continued to this day.
Come down to our ‘original' Oak at 318 Bank St. during our anniversary week (April 20-24) and enjoy the parties, the entertainment and all the great prizes and giveaways!
During your visit, don't forget to pick up your special Birthday Card/Contest Entry Ballot and bring it back to any Royal Oak location for your chance to win exclusive, one-time-only Royal Oak 25th Anniversary merchandise. Draw date: April 30/05.

We're serving complimentary snacks and birthday cake and partying through the night with the Staggering Punters playing an evening show as well. Exclusive Royal Oak 25th Anniversary prizes to be won. Sunday April 24
Drop by and enjoy a Caesar to start your day. 50¢ from each Caesar sold will be donated to Rogers House . Enjoy live entertainment with Ottawa bluesman Guy Del Villano from 3:00-7:00pm.
MAY
Royal Oak Day
On May 29th we will be awarding a limited edition 25th Anniversary
BBQ at each of the 10 pubs, to enter the competition fill in a ballot
at your local Oak between May 1st and 29th Just to 'raise the stakes',
the BBQ winner will also receive a backyard BBQ party on us! This
will include steaks, salads and a few cold ones for up to 10 persons.

JUNE
In June we move into Lobster season and celebrate with our very
own Royal Oak Lobster fest, try some mouth watering lobster specials
and enter a ballot to win some great prizes that include, lobster
dinner certificates and Royal Oak 25th Anniversary branded merchandise.

JULY & AUGUST
Monday July 11th sees the Royal Oak Corporate Golf Day at Eagle
Creek Golf course, which will run from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm. It will
be a 152 golfer best ball tournament format, with all proceeds go
to supporting Rogers House. The day will include breakfast, snacks
on the course and a roast beef dinner with guest speaker. Each golfer
will receive a starter pack that will include a Royal Oak Anniversary
Golf Shirt, three 25th anniversary Golf Balls, and a Royal Oak Golf
Ball Towel.
In July and August as Ottawa basks in the sun we will continue
to have plenty of 25th Anniversary promotional activities in our
pubs with a Canada Day Bash at our pub on the Rideau Canal on Echo
Drive and a Retro Disco under the stars at our pub on 188 Bank St.
Other giveaways during these months linked to pub promotions will
include great 25th Anniversary branded merchandise such as leather
jackets and a mountain bike.
SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER
In September and early October we celebrate another great birthday.
Alexander Keith, that hospitable man and fine brewer from Nova Scotia,
celebrates 210 years and we will be hosting the party in his honour,
with live celtic entertainment at all 10 pubs on 5th October. Happy
Birthday, Alexander!

NOVEMBER & DECEMBER
The fall we will continue to celebrate with the return of the Royal
Oak Chicken and Rib fest, and to end the year in December we will
salute our valued customers and friendly staff with regular's parties
at all pubs at which more great 25th Anniversary branded prizes
will be awarded while every one enjoys great live entertainment
and digs into some complementary appetizers.
Royal Oak in the Glebe celebrates its 14th Anniversary in November.
Royal Oak Hunt Club celebrates its 3rd Anniversary also in November.
Be sure to close out the year with a bang! Join us to celebrate
our New Year's Eve.
